PrEP is a new way for people to reduce their risk of acquiring HIV.
COVID-19 PrEP UPDATE 7.05.2020: We have temporarily paused recruitment to the Impact trial during this period to protect patients and staff from COVID-19. However, if you are interested in joining the PrEP Impact trial, please do leave your details (how to do this is outlined below) and we will get in touch in due course. We are working closely with the national Impact research team to restart recruitment as soon as it is safe to do so.
For those already on the PrEP Impact trial, we are still able to provide PrEP to you and are aiming to do this remotely via postal testing and prescriptions via post. Please call the PrEP Impact number as usual (Impact line 0117 342 6941), leave a message and we will be in touch as soon as possible to arrange a review of your PrEP.
The PrEP Impact Trial is aiming to recruit 26,000 participants (increased from 10,000 in 2018) across England who are at risk of HIV.
