You will be asked a few questions over the telephone to check some basic information. If you meet the basic eligibility, you will be offered an appointment with a research clinician to discuss the trial further

(dependent on appointment availability).

To make an appointment please ring 01934 881231 – The line (not voicemail) will be open from 09.00 Monday 11th  December and thereafter during normal WISH Centre working hours , with first appointments bookable from Tuesday 12th December.

 

Unity Sexual Health services have two pilot sites for the PrEP Impact trial, Unity Central at the Central Health clinic in Bristol, and Unity@WISH at Weston Area Health NHS Trust. Other pilot sites in the South West include Swindon and Taunton, as well as clinics in Devon and Cornwall.

PrEP is a new way for people to reduce their risk of acquiring HIV.

The PrEP Impact Trial is recruiting 10,000 participants across the whole of England who are at risk of HIV.

 

Unity @ Central clinic has 60 places for the PrEP Impact trial.

Unity @ WISH clinic has 20 places on the PrEP Impact trial.
